Advanced Driving

A number of advanced driving tests are available. We particularly promote the DIAmond Advanced Motorist Test. Candidates for this exam require thorough preparation. The exam lasts for about one-hour and includes a wide variety of driving conditions including motorways. The following special exercises are included;

1. Turning in the road using forward and reverse gears.

2. A reverse into a side road on the left.

3. A reverse into a side road on the right.

4. A reverse park.

One of the main features of the drive is making progress. The candidate is expected to complete the journey in the shortest time but keeping within speed limits and safety. The test is administered by the Driving Instructors Association (DIA) and endorsed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA)
