Peter Howard
Owner and Principal Instructor
Peter took over
the School from his father in 1976 and has specialized
in training driving instructors for the last 30
years. He is recognized by the Driver & Vehicle
Standards Agency as a senior trainer with a vast
amount of practical experience in this field.
He is ORDIT registered (Official Register of Driving
Instructor Training). He holds a City & Guilds
certificate in Adult Education. He is an Examiner
for The
DIAmond Advanced Motorist Test organized by
The Driving Instructor's Association and endorsed
by The Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency.
FSOM recommend that all new ADI's take this test.

Peter has been a
Grade 6 DVSA Approved Driving Instructor for the
last 25 years and
has recently passed his Standards Check, once again
gaining an “A” grade under the much more stringent
new system.
'A' grade is the top grade for a Driving Instructor

His students
come from a variety of towns throughout the North
West, not simply the Bolton area.
